Strategic Change Specialist – CX, Personalisation, Martech & Data
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change Lead to join a fast growing boutique management consulting organisation to lead, drive and develop our change management capability.
The Role
Optima Partners is a forward-thinking professional services firm on an exciting growth trajectory. As we expand from 50 to 200 employees over the next two years, we are strengthening our team and are now looking for a skilled an experienced Change Management Practitioner to lead and execute change initiatives within our clients rapidly evolving MarTech ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies that drive successful adoption and utilisation of new technologies, platforms, and processes across marketing and digital teams.
In this role, you will be expected to work closely with different stakeholder groups, from senior leadership to end users, to ensure alignment, engagement, and readiness at every stage of the change process. You will assess the organisation’s current state, anticipate challenges, and build actionable plans that address potential impacts on people, processes, and culture. This role will require a deep understanding of both change management principles and the MarTech landscape, including marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, data analytics, content management systems (CMS), and customer experience (CX) technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the storytelling. Help our clients craft their case for change, articulating what this means at macro and micro-levels, creating a compelling and motivating change narrative.
- Design and implement effective change management strategies tailored towards marketing and customer engagement transformations, ensuring alignment with our clients’ goals and vision.
- Identify, analyse, and engage key stakeholders and influencers at all levels. Establish strong relationships to ensure buy-in and support for MarTech acquisition, rollout, adoption and optimisation.
- Identification and mobilsation of suitable change networks.
- Understand how change will be measured, establishing success metrics and the means to track progress. Linking KPIs back to desired business and customer outcomes.
- Conduct thorough impact assessments to identify the effects of change on our clients’ people, processes, and systems; creating personas to help capture what change will mean at a more granular and personal level.
- Produce creative and comprehensive engagement interventions that promote transparency, build awareness, and foster enthusiasm for change.
- Develop and oversee persona-focused training programmes to equip our clients with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively adopt new technologies and platforms.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and teams to drive continuous improvement throughout the change management process.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Change Management: Extensive experience leading change management initiatives with a proven track record of driving successful marketing technology adoption and managing organisational transitions. Familiar with best practice change management methodologies and approaches.
- Experience in Training and Communications: Experience in designing and delivering tailored training programmes as well as the development of creative, and comprehensive communications. Translation of complex subjects into simple, clear and accessible information.
- Technology expertise: Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, including CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, data analytics systems, and customer experience (CX) technologies. Familiarity with platforms like Adobe Workfront, Experience Manager, Pega CDH are an advantage.
- Experience in effective Stakeholder Management: Ability to identify, engage, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, from executive leadership to end users.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Sharp analytical skills with a passion for problem-solving. Ability to translate business challenges into solution design options.
- Leadership & Communication: Confident, engaging, and natural communicator with experience working in high-pressure environments within high-performing teams.
