The Role
Optima Partners is a forward-thinking professional services firm on an exciting growth trajectory. As we expand from 50 to 200 employees over the next two to three years, we are strengthening our team and are now looking for Senior Consultant/Manager to help support our Customer Engagement & Strategy work.
This role will support the delivery of high-impact, data-driven marketing and customer strategy solutions for our clients. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges, design customer-centric strategies, and translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations that drive measurable results.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your expertise, initiative, and problem-solving skills will help shape our clients’ growth and customer engagement ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale marketing transformation programs, with a focus on personalisation and next-best-action strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for marketing, aligning with business objectives and customer engagement goals, and identify the role of MarTech platforms within this.
- Interpret and apply data-driven insights, including segmentation and propensity models, to inform strategic recommendations.
- Oversee omni-channel orchestration and shape CRM strategies to deliver consistent, personalised customer experiences across digital and offline channels.
- Plan and facilitate client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and playback sessions to align teams and drive progress.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, collaborate with internal teams, and proactively solve challenges.
Skills & Experience
Experience:
- Experience in data-driven marketing and/or customer engagement projects.
- An understanding of how to measure marketing performance across different channels.
- Strong grasp of customer segmentation, journey mapping, service design, and customer research methodologies.
- Able to support on the assessment of marketing function maturity.
- Excellent at structuring and delivering workshops, and running stakeholder. interviews.
- Experience defining and driving strategic roadmaps, overseeing agile delivery, and embedding governance to ensure scalable, compliant, and customer-centric decisioning solutions.

This includes supporting business growth and ensuring we're equipped to address both current and future client needs. You will collaborate across our consulting, technology, and data science teams, you'll advocate for design-led methodologies, helping identify opportunities where design can drive transformation and improve business outcomes.
