Marketing Transformation Delivery Lead
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Transformation Delivery Lead to join our growing Customer Engagement Consulting Team. This is a strategic and delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, technology and operations — and who’s passionate about helping ambitious organisations reimagine how they engage their customers.
You’ll work with senior stakeholders to shape future-fit marketing operating models, enablement strategies and capabilities. From vision-setting with executive teams to hands-on delivery of transformation programmes, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients unlock customer value and drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transformation programmes across marketing operating models, capability development, technology enablement and ways of working.
- Engage senior stakeholders — from CMOs to campaign managers — to shape and deliver customer engagement strategies.
- Design and embed future-ready solutions, collaborating across Optima’s consulting, technology and data teams.
- Develop transformation frameworks and methodologies that help clients scale personalisation, leverage AI, and modernise campaign operations.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence and identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships.
- Contribute to thought leadership, shaping Optima’s point of view on the future of marketing and customer engagement.
- A proven track record in marketing or customer engagement transformation, either in consulting or in-house.
- Experience designing operating models, governance structures and capability roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Knowledge of marketing technologies such as Adobe, Salesforce, Pega, and DAM/workflow tools — and how to embed them in real-world environments.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, able to simplify complexity and inspire change.
- A balance of vision and pragmatism, knowing when to think big and when to focus on getting it done.
- A curious mindset, resilience in the face of ambiguity, and a collaborative spirit.
